Do I need butchery experience to take your classes?

Having some experience with a knife in your hand certainly helps but we've designed all of our classes to be accessible to beginners and also challenging enough for someone with previous experience.  If you're feeling like you'd like to do some studying at home ahead of time, get in touch with Bill and he'll give you some material to go over and get yourself familiar with the basics ahead of time.

How often do you offer classes?

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little meaty and a sturdy pair of comfortable shoes - students can expect to be on their feet for the majority of the class day. As a working food production facility we also require that all students wear a hat or a hairnet the entire time they're in the production area.  The food hub can also be pretty cold so dress in layers, especially if you're taking a class in the fall or winter.
